''Consider the Source'' is a 2015 Canadian-American web series directed by Brent Hodge and produced by Morgan Spurlock, produced through Spurlock's company Warrior Poets, Hodgee Films and Disney's Maker Studios. Combining in-depth tongue-in-cheek style reporting with a graphically engaging style resembling TV’s most popular procedural dramas, Consider the Source takes a fresh and engaging look at the unknown and sordid journeys that our favorite products take to get from the factories and fields to our tables, closets, and shelves. It examines the things that we rely on, use and consume the most, like gas or water.
The series was released on ''SMARTish'', a YouTube Internet TV channel, and in its first week gained over 300,000+ views.

In 2014, Maker Studios was bought by The Walt Disney Company for $950 million.
